Maniapoto Community Services (MCS)The Ngati Maniapoto Marae Pact Trust (Inc) Community Services Division is presently approved as an Iwi Social Services Provider approved by New Zealand Community Funding Agency and are currently registered as a Family and Child Support Service, under the Children, Young Persons and Their Families Act. We are also an accredited Maori Health Provider delivering educational and promotional programmes in health.
Mission StatementOur mission is to provide an additional avenue for the prevention and treatment of social, health and welfare difficulties for Maori who too often fail to fully utilise existing services, owing to cultural and social differences in responsibility. This will in the long term reduce social ills among Maori and provides sustainable health gains and an improved quality of life.
